Season Johnson
Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner | Integrative Health Practitioner | Owner of Biodynamic Wellness | FNTP, IHP L2
As the new owner of Biodynamic Wellness, my passion is helping individuals and families reclaim their health using functional nutrition, detoxification, and holistic wellness strategies. My journey into this work began when my son was diagnosed with cancer at just two years old. Over the next 3.5 years, we navigated daily chemotherapy and countless surgeries, an experience that fueled my unwavering mission: to empower others with the tools to thrive through a cancer diagnosis and beyond.
I’m honored to have received the Weston A. Price Foundation Activist Award and the Children’s Health Advocate Award from the Nutritional Therapy Association for my work in pediatric cancer. In 2019, I was also awarded the doTERRA Elevation Award for my dedication to supporting families through my nonprofit, The KICKcancER Movement.
Beyond my work with pediatric cancer, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Health & Wellness Expert for the Oscars and have partnered with professional sports teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Braves, and Washington Nationals, to help integrate natural healing solutions into their protocols.

Min Kim
NTP | Master Restorative Wellness Practitioner | Traditional Foods Teacher
Min’s interest in food and nutrition began at a young age, but it wasn’t until she attended a seminar led by Kim Schuette in 2009 and learned how to transition to a traditional whole food diet that she truly understood the power of food as medicine. This led her to pursue training in traditional food preparation, teaching others to prepare nutrient dense foods as a member of our team in 2013. She perfected her technique of high hydration, slow fermented sourdough bread and has taught many classes locally and has spoken at the Weston A. Price Conference.
Min continued her passion for nutrition, graduating from the Nutritional Therapy Association in 2021. She then completed all levels of the Restorative Wellness Solutions program to reach the Master level, becoming certified in interpreting specialized lab testing for digestive healing, food sensitivities, hormonal balance, functional blood chemistry, genetics, toxins, autoimmunity, and neurological health. Min has seen her adult son finally resolve issues of lifelong eczema with these tools. Her love of teaching furthers her desire to empower others to understand the root cause of their illness and find ways to build resilience in the body. Min resides with her family in Rancho Santa Fe.

Krissy Gonzales
NTP | RWP-2 | BSN
Krissy is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Restorative Wellness Practitioner, and Registered Nurse who helps families uncover the root causes of chronic symptoms through a functional, whole-body approach. Her work is rooted in personal experience—navigating digestive issues, acne, infertility, and supporting a child with FPIES and eczema sparked her passion for using nutrition to support true healing.
She now specializes in prenatal and postpartum nutrition, pediatric wellness, and chronic childhood concerns like eczema, digestive issues, and food sensitivities. With advanced training in functional lab testing—including the GI-MAP, MRT food sensitivity test, and comprehensive blood work—she guides moms and kids toward healing that’s personalized, practical, and nourishing.
As a mom of three, Krissy understands the demands of motherhood and how easily symptoms can be dismissed or overlooked. She’s passionate about helping intentional, proactive women feel equipped to support their own health and raise resilient, thriving children—without guessing or going it alone.
Her philosophy is simple: the body is designed to heal when we support it with nutrient-dense food, foundational habits, and a deeper understanding of what it truly needs. She combines clinical insight with a compassionate, real-life approach to help families restore balance from the inside out.
Krissy lives in San Diego with her husband and three children, where she enjoys home-cooked meals, a good comedy, and encouraging other moms on their wellness journey.

Sara Newell
RDN | IFNCP | AIP | Art and Science of GI Healing (Restorative Wellness Solutions RWP-1)
Sara is thrilled to work at BioDynamic Wellness, a place that has been integral to her own health throughout her life. Exposure to Biodynamic Wellness and healthy practices started as a child in Cardiff, California where her family knew Kim Shuette. Their families participated in food co-ops together. This family lifestyle led to a passion for nutrition and her formal education.
Functional health practices became critical as Sara navigated her own health struggles (with stomach pain, brain fog, nausea, low appetite, panic attacks, fatigue, and heart palpitations) while a Marine spouse and mother of three young children. She had to identify the key puzzle pieces and gradually restore her own health with the assistance of integrative and functional medicine.
Professionally, she has utilized functional health practices in her role focused on maternal health for the last 15 years. Meanwhile, she expanded her functional health expertise in supporting diverse challenges for individuals in her family and community.
As a functional practitioner she is dedicated to restoring your health with these steps:
- Prioritize – There is an order to healing and we must honor this body’s priority to heal.
- Discover – Identify what is causing your body to be imbalanced and confusing your immune system.
- Customize – A protocol tailored to you using diet, lifestyle and supplements if needed.
In addition to maternal health, she loves to focus on addressing the root causes of
autoimmune symptoms. As a nature girl you can find her out in God’s creation surfing,
hiking, and camping with her family as well as enjoying her quiet time with gardening,
making soup, and being artistic.

Ali Jay
Ali Jay is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Master Restorative Wellness Practitioner with a deep passion for supporting women in their childbearing years, with a focus on preconception health. Raised by a chiropractor father and a mother who prioritized organic food before it was mainstream, Ali grew up questioning the conventional medical model and embracing a holistic approach to health.
Her journey led her from culinary school in NYC and a career as a natural foods chef to graduating from the Nutritional Therapy Association in 2013 (thanks to Kim Schuette!). She went on to complete GAPS practitioner and traditional foods trainings as well as all four levels of the Restorative Wellness Solutions program, continuously deepening her expertise in functional nutrition and root-cause healing.
Ali’s work is grounded in both education and lived experience. Having navigated her own health challenges, she understands what it’s like to feel dismissed, alone, and at times hopeless. She offers more than just protocols; she provides compassionate, personalized care, rooted in the belief that true healing begins when women feel safe, heard, and empowered.
Ali guides women to reconnect with their bodies, nourish deeply, and build lasting wellness—for themselves and their families. Ali lives in the Florida Panhandle with her husband and four children. When not diving into the latest health and nutrition research, you will often find her soaking up the sunshine on walks and at the beach, chasing chickens or kiddos at their ranch property close by, or in the kitchen whipping up the simplest of nourishing meals for her family (because, um, four growing kids!).
